Special Council - Closed Session

That the Special meeting of the Council of the Township of Springwater of September 17, 2025 come to order at 5:00 p.m.

That in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act , 2001, the Corporation of the Township of Springwater does hereby resolve to move into Closed Session at 5:01 p.m. for discussion pertaining to:  A personal matter about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees;  Information explicitly supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board by Canada, a province or territory or a Crown agency of any of them;  a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations

That the Council of the Township of Springwater does now rise from Closed Session at 6:20 p.m.

That the confidential memo from the Legislative – Records Coordinator regarding the Elmvale District High School Donation Fund Ad Hoc Committee Applicant Selection Package dated September 17, 2025, be received; and, That staff proceed as directed in closed session.

That the confidential memo from the Legislative – Records Coordinator regarding the Property Standards Committee Vacancy Applicant Selection Package dated September 17, 2025, be received; and, That staff proceed as directed in closed session.

That By-law 2025-070 to confirm and adopt the proceedings of Council at the Special Meeting held on September 17, 2025 listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

That the Special Meeting of the Township of Springwater does now adjourn at 6:22 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Meeting on September 17, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
