Special Council - Closed Session

That the Special meeting of the Council of the Township of Springwater of August 14, 2025 come to order at 2:04 p.m.

That in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act , 2001, the Corporation of the Township of Springwater does hereby resolve to move into Closed Session at 2:04 p.m. for discussion pertaining to:  Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board;  information explicitly supplied in confidence to the municipality or local board by Canada, a province or territory or a Crown agency of any of them. That the Council of the Township of Springwater does now rise from Closed Session at 4:41p.m.

That the confidential Update on Lewis Pit Expansion - Ontario Land Tribunal Appeal, be received; and, That staff proceed as directed in closed.

That By-law 2025-056 to confirm and adopt the proceedings of Council at the Special Meeting held on August 14, 2025 listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

That the Special Meeting of the Township of Springwater does now adjourn at 4:43 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Meeting on September 3, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
