Special Council - Closed Session

That the Special meeting of the Council of the Township of Springwater of February 21, 2024 come to order at 4:30 p.m.

That in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act , 2001, the Corporation of the Township of Springwater does hereby resolve to move into Closed Session at 4:31 p.m. for discussion pertaining to:  A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board;  Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board;  Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose;  a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations

That the Council of the Township of Springwater does now rise from Closed Session at 5:59 p.m.

That the draft lease agreement – family physician office, be received; and, That staff proceed as directed in closed session.

That the legal update regarding the fire hall project, be received; and, That staff proceed as directed in closed session.

That By-law 2024-012 to confirm and adopt the proceedings of Council at the Special Meeting held on February 21, 2024 listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

That the Special Meeting of the Township of Springwater does now adjourn at 6:00 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Meeting on February 21, 2024 at 6:01 p.m.
