Special Council - Closed Session

That the Special meeting of the Council of the Township of Springwater of November 13, 2023 come to order at 3:00 p.m.

That in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act , 2001, the Corporation of the Township of Springwater does hereby resolve to move into Closed Session at 3:01 p.m. for discussion pertaining to:  A personal matter about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees;  Labour relations or employee negotiations;  Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board;  Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose. That the Council of the Township of Springwater does now rise from Closed Session at 4:09 p.m.

That the confidential report from the Senior Planner regarding Lewis Pit – ARA Objection Notice and Direction, dated November 13, 2023, be received; and, That staff proceed as directed in closed session.

That the confidential report from the Director of Planning Services regarding Ontario Land Tribunal Appeal-Ballymore Homes-Directions Report that was listed on closed session dated November 13, 2023, be received; and, That staff proceed as directed in closed session.

That By-law 2023-105 to confirm and adopt the proceedings of Council at the Special Meeting held on November 13, 2023 listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

That the Special Meeting of the Township of Springwater does now adjourn at 4:12 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Meeting on November 15, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
