Special Council - Closed Session

That the Special meeting of the Council of the Township of Springwater of July 5, 2023 come to order at 4:30 p.m.

That the presentation from Robin McCleave of BFL Canada regarding Insurance Risk & Claims Mitigation, be received.

That in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act , 2001, the Corporation of the Township of Springwater does hereby resolve to move into Closed Session at 5:04 p.m. for discussion pertaining to:  A personal matter about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees;  Labour relations or employee negotiations;  Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board. Topics: Annual Claims/Litigation Update (Litigation or potential litigation) Employment Matters - Springwater Public Library (Identifiable Individual & Labour relations)

That the Council of the Township of Springwater does now rise from Closed Session at 6:00 p.m.

That an Officer of the Corporation be directed, in accordance with the closed session motion, relating to the closed session topic "Employment Matters - Springwater Public Library".

That By-law 2023-072 to confirm and adopt the proceedings of Council at the Special Meeting held on July 5, 2023 listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

That the Special Meeting of the Township of Springwater does now adjourn at 6:03 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Meeting on July 5, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
