Special Council - Closed Session

That the Special meeting of the Council of the Township of Springwater of July 5, 2022 come to order at 4:30 p.m.

That in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001, the Corporation of the Township of Springwater does hereby resolve to move into Closed Session at 4:32 p.m. for discussion pertaining to:  A proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board;  Labour relations or employee negotiations;  Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board. Topic: Update re: Statement of Claim (Legal Matter) County of Simcoe Request for Purchase of Land - 1254 Snow Valley Rd Staffing Compensation and Benefits Matter

That the Council of the Township of Springwater does now rise from Closed Session at 5:42 p.m.

That the confidential report from the Manager of Legislative Services/Township Clerk regarding the Request for Purchase of Land – 1254 Snow Valley Rd, dated July 6, 2022, be received; and That staff proceed as directed in closed session.

That the confidential report from the Chief Administrative Officer regarding OMERS Staffing Implications, dated July 6, 2022, be received; and That staff proceed as directed in closed session.

That By-law 2022-048 to confirm and adopt the proceedings of Council at the Special Meeting held on July 6, 2022 listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

That the Special Meeting of the Township of Springwater does now adjourn at 5:45 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Meeting on July 6, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
