Special Council - Closed Session

That the Special meeting of the Council of the Township of Springwater of February 16, 2022 come to order at 4:00 p.m.

That in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act , 2001, the Corporation of the Township of Springwater does hereby resolve to move into Closed Session at 4:01p.m. for discussion pertaining to:  Labour relations or employee negotiations  Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board  A personal matter about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees Topic: Union Negotiations Building Official Contract to Full time (FTE) - Identifiable individual/labour relations

That the Council of the Township of Springwater does now rise from Closed Session at 5:24 p.m.

That Council hereby authorize a mandate to the Bargaining Committee relating to the CUPE union negotiations, as outlined in closed session.

That the closed session report from the Chief Building Official regarding Building Services Permanent Full Time Complement, dated February 16, 2022, be received; and, That staff proceed as directed.

That By-law 2022-012 to confirm and adopt the proceedings of Council at the Special Meeting held on February 16, 2022 listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

That the Special Meeting of the Township of Springwater does now adjourn at 5:27 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Meeting on February 16, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
