Special Council - 2026/27 Budget

That the Special meeting of the Council of the Township of Springwater of November 19, 2025 come to order at 5:01 p.m.

That the presentation from the South Georgian Bay Physician Recruitment regarding the 2026 budget request, be received. Amended C463B-2025 Moved by Garwood Seconded by Alexander That the motion now before Council be amended as follows: That the budget be amended to increase the funding total to $12,000, to be funded from the proceeds of the Springwater Swing.

Amended C464B-2025 Moved by Moore Seconded by Fisher That the motion now before Council be amended as follows: That the budget be amended to increase the funding total to $12,000, to be funded from the proceeds of the Springwater Swing.

That the presentation from the Elmvale Business Improvement Area regarding the 2026 budget request, be received.

That the presentation from the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority regarding the 2026 budget request, be received. Amended C466B-2025 Moved by Fisher Seconded by Alexander That the motion now before Council be amended as follows: Add And That the budget be amended to include Category 3 Services, in the amount of $19,047.34. And That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to enter into the Category 3 agreement, upon final adoption of the budget.

That the presentation from the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority regarding the 2026 budget request, be received. And That the budget be amended to include Category 3 Services, in the amount of $19,047.34. And That the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to enter into the Category 3 agreement, upon final adoption of the budget.

That the presentation from the Severn Sound Environmental Association regarding the 2026 budget request, be received.

That the presentation from the Springwater Public Library regarding the 2026 budget request, be received.

That By-law 2025-096 to confirm and adopt the proceedings of Council at the Special Meeting held on November 19, 2025 listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

That the Special Meeting of the Township of Springwater does now adjourn at 6:21 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Meeting on November 19, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.
