That the motion now before Council be

That the 2024/25 Draft Operating Budget - Office of the CAO & People and Talent, be

That Program Change - Service Springwater Contract, be

That Program Change - Communications Assistant, be

That Program Change - Assistant, People - Health, Safety and Learning, be

That the 2024/25 Draft Operating and Capital Budget - Corporate Services, be

That the 2024/25 Draft Operating and Capital Budget - Fire and Emergency Services, be

That the report from the Manager, People – Talent, Payroll & Benefits regarding Volunteer Firefighter Compensation and Benefits, dated November 15, 2023, be received. Amended C646B-2023 Moved by Cabral Seconded by Thompson That the motion now before Council be amended as follows: Add Option 1 That staff be hereby directed to increase the minimum call out to two-hours and include the additional salary costs of approximately $105,000 within the Fire & Emergency Services 2024 Operating Budget.

That the motion now before Council be amended as follows: Add Option 5 That a Health Care Spending Account in the amount of $1000 be provided to Springwater Fire & Emergency Services volunteer firefighters and established through the Township’s current benefits provider Sun Life Financial; and That staff be directed to include the additional costs of $106,900 plus applicable taxes within the Fire & Emergency Services 2024 Operating Budget.
