Special Council

That the Special meeting of the Council of the Township of Springwater of May 31, 2023 come to order at 5:00 p.m.

That this Public Meeting of Council held under Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the proposed development charges by-law and underlying background study be called to order at 5:01 PM.

That this Public Meeting held under Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended to present and obtain public input on the proposed development charges by-law and underlying background study does now adjourn at 5:33 PM.

That subject to comments received at the Public Meeting held under Section 12 of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended, to present and obtain public input on the proposed development charges by-law and underlying background study, a By-law be submitted to Council for consideration and approval on June 21, 2023.

That the report from the Director of Planning Services, regarding ERO # 019-6813-Provincial Planning Statement (PPS 2023), dated May 31, 2023, be received; and, That subject to any comments received from Council, staff be authorized to submit Township comments as generally outlined in the report to the Environmental Registry of Ontario (ERO) prior to the submission deadline, pending any future reports should the province release further proposed changes.

That By-law 2023-055 to confirm and adopt the proceedings of Council at the Special Meeting held on May 31, 2023 listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

That the Special Meeting of the Township of Springwater does now adjourn at 5:41 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Meeting on June 7, 2023 at 6:30 p.m.
