Special Council

That the Special meeting of the Council of the Township of Springwater of January 31, 2022 come to order at 5:00 p.m.

That in accordance with Section 239 of the Municipal Act , 2001, the Corporation of the Township of Springwater does hereby resolve to move into Closed Session at 5:02 p.m. for discussion pertaining to:  Labour relations or employee negotiations;  Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose. Topic: Compensation Review

That the Council of the Township of Springwater does now rise from Closed Session at 7:37 p.m.

That the by-law listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk 2021-001 Adopt Non Union/Management Salary Grid Amended C26B-2022 Moved by Moore Seconded by Chapman That the motion now before Council be amended as follows: Add And That the grid be effective for a period of one year; and, That Council hereby direct staff to research possible compensation incentive systems and report back to Council. Yes: Coughlin, Chapman, Moore, and Hanna No: Allen, Cabral, and Ritchie

That the by-laws listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk 2021-001 Adopt Non Union/Management Salary Grid; and, That the grid be effective for a period of one year; and, That Council hereby direct staff to research possible compensation incentive systems and report back to Council.

That By-law 2022-011 to confirm and adopt the proceedings of Council at the Special Meeting held on January 31, 2022 listed herein be signed and sealed by the Mayor and Clerk.

That the Special Meeting of the Township of Springwater does now adjourn at 7:48 p.m. to meet again in a Regular Meeting on February 2, 2022 at 6:30 p.m.
