Cultural and Heritage Advisory Committee

That this meeting of the Township of Springwater's Cultural and Heritage Advisory Committee come to order at 5:34 p.m.

That the February 9, 2026, Minutes of the Township of Springwater's Cultural and Heritage Advisory Committee be approved as presented.

That the delegation received from the owner of the Crossland General Store be received as information.

That following the receipt of the Heritage Tax Refund Program Applications for 2026 due on February 28, 2026, the following in-person inspections be conducted prior to the June 11, 2026, Committee meeting by the following members:  Crossland General Store by Donna Kenwell and Kasia Czajkowski  Martingrove House by Greg Barker and Hale Mahon  Parker House by Kasia Czajkowski and Matt Garwood  Tudhope House by Joan Gannon and Liz Grummett

That the Committee renew its membership with the Simcoe County Historical Association for 2026 in the amount of $20.00.

That the Cultural and Heritage Advisory Committee approve sending Chair Mahon and Member Gannon to the 2026 Ontario Heritage Conference from Thursday June 18th through to Saturday June 20th; and; Cultural and Heritage Advisory Committee April 13, 2026 Page 3 of 4 That the registration of $340.00, hotel expenses with an upset limit of $900.00 plus taxes & fees per member for Thursday and Friday night, and mileage at a rate in accordance with the Township's policy, be covered by the Cultural and Heritage Advisory Committee budget.

That the April 13, 2026, meeting of the Township of Springwater Cultural and Heritage Advisory Committee does now adjourn at 6:58 p.m.
